Uses
Alkali-resistant white fiberglass mesh (60 g/m²) for reinforcement of the liquid waterproofing systems (AQUATA SEAL 100 and AQUATA SEAL 200 HYBRID) as well as for the reinforcement of the microcement systems (VELVET DECO SUPERIA and VELVET DECO PREMIA).
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Ideal for reinforcing the VELVET DECO SUPERIA and VELVET DECO PREMIA microcement systems. It ensures the flexibility of the surface produced and increases its strength. It can also be used for the reinforcement of the AQUATA SEAL 100 and AQUATA SEAL 200 HYBRID brushable waterproofing membranes.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate must be stable, solid, dry and free of dust, loosely adhering particles and all kinds of contaminants.
APPLICATION
Apply a first layer of VELVET DECO PREMIA COARSE (or VELVET DECO SUPERIA), with a notched trowel (8 mm or 10 mm). This ensures a mortar layer thickness 4 – 5 mm. Place the FIBERGLASS MESH 60 on the surface of the fresh coating, unrolling the fiberglass mesh from top to bottom. Then, press the fiberglass mesh with the smooth side of the trowel to fully embed it in the surface of the base coating. Subsequently, apply a new thin layer of VELVET DECO PREMIA COARSE (or VELVET DECO SUPERIA), with the smooth side of the trowel, so that the eyes of the fiberglass mesh are completely covered. This ensures that the fiberglass mesh is embedded in the middle of the application thickness. The application procedure is similar for the application of the brushable sealants AQUATA SEAL 100, AQUATA SEAL 200 HYBRID.
TOOLS CLEANING
With plenty of water immediately after use. Hardened and/or cured material can only be removed by mechanically means.
It is recommended to store in a clean, dry place, at temperatures between -5°C and 30°C, protected from frost, direct radiation from any heat source or direct sunlight. The rolls should be placed vertically during storage and transport
