The paint is cracking or peeling

Problem

When you see a crack in the paint, do not ignore it as they may start small, but will grow over time if not repaired.

Cause

These cracks can be caused by various reasons, such as not preparing the surface or applying oil paint over plastic paint. Cracks are also caused when a second or third coat of paint is applied before the previous one is completely dry or when the primer is not compatible with the paint.

Solution

  • Remove the peeled paint from the surface with a spatula, sandpaper or hard brush.
  • Priming of the surface with MARMOLINE MST 11 at the correct dilution (insoluble or diluted with water up to 50%).
  • Application in two coats of the plastic interior paint UNI PAINT.
  • Mix well before use.
