POLYMER LATEX FOR MORTAR PROPERTIES IMPROVEMENT

Polymeric, admixture, in emulsion form, for mortars properties improvement as well as other building materials. Increases bonding to the substrate while at the same time improves the strength and plasticity of mortars by preventing the creation of capillary cracks.

Uses

Durability and adhesion of renders and masonry mortars.
Creates a bonding layer between old and new cement mortar.
Increases the resistance of floor screeds against abrasion so that they are dust-proof. It is also recommended for floors with underfloor heating.
For industrial floors and cement mortars for forming inclinations, smoothing and grooving.
Improves repair mortars and thin layers.

Storage

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate should be stable, solid, dry and free of dust, loose particles and all kinds of contaminants. The surface must be dry, clean, free of dust, loose materials, salts or oils. Mix well before use.

APPLICATION
MPLAST 80 is added to the mortar mixing water. The required amount depends on the application. It is recommended that MPLAST 80 be stirred first in the mixer and then add the cement and aggregates.

For manual mixing, recommended to do the process in reverse: first the cement and the aggregates and then the MPLAST 80.
Working time of mortars with ΜPLAST 80 are slightly increased.

APPLICATION EXAMPLES

Consumption: 1.5 -4kg MPLAST 80 / cement bag 50kg.
Increases the resistance of floor screeds against abrasion so that they are dust-proof. Also recommended for floors with underfloor heating
Consumption: Replace the required amount of water at a rate of 30% using MPLAST 80.
For industrial floors and cement mortars for forming inclinations, smoothing and grooving.
Consumption: Replace the required amount of water at a rate of 30% using MPLAST 80.
