HIGH QUALITY WHITE POLYMER-MODIFIED TILE ADHESIVE

High quality, polymer-modified, cement-based, white tile adhesive, modified with aggregates and special additives for zero vertical slip and extended open application time. Suitable for substrates requiring high adhesion of absorbent and non-absorbent tiles, on horizontal or vertical surfaces. With Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort certification that ensures that EASY SET 80 complies with the strictest European regulations on VOC emissions. CE marked and according to EN 12004 classified as C2TE adhesive.

Uses

EASY SET 80 shows strong adhesion to all standard substrates (e.g. concrete, cement mortar, floors with old coatings, aerated concrete, plaster, brick wall etc.). Also is suitable for fixing both absorbent and non-absorbent tiles, clinker-type tiles, natural and artificial decorative stones etc, on vertical and horizontal surfaces where high adhesion and resistance to moisture are required. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Check that the substrate is clean, dry and free from loose particles and other materials.
If the substrate is unstable or crumbles, then it is recommended to prime the surface with MARMOLINE MST 11 acrylic water based primer.

APPLICATION

Mix EASY SET 80 25 kg with the necessary quantity of water 7lt, using an electric mixer at low speed, until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is obtained.
Leave the mixture to set for 5-10 minutes and stir again.
Spread with a notched trowel; choose the size according to the type of tile and the substrate.
Tiles must be fixed within 30 minutes after applying the adhesive and definitely before it skins-over.
The adhesive remains workable in the pot for 3 to 4 hours, depending on the season, temperature and humidity of the environment.
When the adhesive begins to set, stir again without adding water. Proceed to joint-filling after 24 hours, for floors and 12 hours, for walls.
